Thieves are fun, but I prefer shooting fireballs and a blizzard out the other than crouching around people :)

I felt the same way about being an example and such. I live in a pretty conservative area, small town Texas, although the school itself isn't bad. Another reason I wanted to was that there was a little part of me that knew it's pretty unlikely to be able to date or anything when I'm in the closet. It's probably a moot point though, I doubt there're any gay guys at my school. Do crushes on straight guys bother you? I used to always get my hopes up, but I sort of stopped caring (in a non-emo way).

My god no one in your school is gay? Where are you going to school, I am from Alaska and there are 3 other openly gay kids at my school not including me. Then theres a few closet cases. Maybe if you improve your gaydar a little you would see others more clearly.

I go to school in a town where about 50% of the people are mormon, so being gay is pretty frowned upon here unfortunately.

I’m off and on about whether to come out openly in high school. Nobody in my school is openly gay. Part of me has a desire to kind of be out a sort of a role model for other gay people in my school in the closet since my school isn’t the most gay friendly place, but I don’t really know.
